Elephant Trek in Phuket, Thailand

In Phuket we went on an Elephant Trek through the Jungle. It was a very neat jungle with banana trees and everything! We were there about 2 hours. We saw a "Baby Elephant Show"...which was this little elephant playing the harmonic and standing on her back legs. Wasn't all that exciting to be honest, but Ana loved it.
Then we saw a monkey show. That was entertaining. 3 different monkeys did different "talents" like riding a bicycle, swimming, cracking coconuts....they were pretty cute.

Somehow Marc always gets tagged to be the audience participate. :) That "praying hand" is how the Thai people greet each other with a bow. Can you tell me which one is the true monkey? Hee hee!

THEN we got on our elephants and walked though this jungle for about 30 minutes. This is Jim and Sandy on their elephant.

And this is us! It was a blast. We did have guides that helped us. It was quite the experience!

Oooohhh! What a great experience! How many people do you know that can say they have ridden an elephant? I am jealous!
