The Temple of Heaven was built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty as well. This temple is smaller than the Forbidden City's temple but bigger than the Summer Palace temple. It was built to offer a sacrifice to Heaven.

This is the inside of the Temple.

See the wall that
encloses the Temple? This shows that the heaven is high and the earth is low which reflects the ancient Chinese thought of the heaven is round and the earth is square. Everything they built has tons of
symbolism and purpose. It's neat.

What great memories your pictures are bringing back! We climbed the wall in November, so it wasn't so hot.
I love how Ana is learning to manipulate. I love even more your response to it, "Go ahead and pee on me." Awesome!
