Everland for "Adoption Day"

Everland is a Korean Disney World! It was SOOOO fun! We bought a year pass and plan to go every couple of weeks. "Adoption Day" (28 April) is the day we went to Russian court last year and Ana became our daughter, legally. We still had to wait until 12 May to take her home which is her "Gotcha Day"...the day we "got her". I don't know what we will celebrate on a yearly basis yet...don't think we need to celebrate both days...but we probably will this year! Maybe we will go to Everland again for "Gotcha Day"! Ana absolutely loved it. Happy squeals and laughing ALL DAY LONG! Family picture at Everland!
Ana got this bunny visor and thought she was hot stuff!

This was on the "Global Village" boat ride...VERY similar to the "It's a Small World" ride at Disney World. She COULD NOT sit still! Up and down and so excited. She is YELLING "Yahoo" here! TOO fun! The Bremer family came to celebrate with us and Joshua and Faith were by her side all day.

I thought this was funny. This is on the "Global Village" ride as well...ya know what they think of the USA? Football and Cowboys and Indians! Are you serious? YEP!

This is the Tulip Ride! It goes round and round and there is a wheel in there that helps you go faster if you want. Ana was all about going faster. She's going to have to start doing these rides with her daddy! :)

This is the Dumbo Ride. I think these type of kiddy rides are about done for her. She was bored. There was a fast "train ride" that was a roller coaster that she kept asking to do! But she was too short to get on it. We only saw about a fourth of this massive amusement park so hopefully I'll find the "fast, scary" rides over the next year to keep her on her toes!

There is a parade everyday at 2:00! VERY neat! The floats change with the seasons. Right now it is the "Flower Carnival" for Spring. Ironically, most of the workers here are RUSSIANS! If you go to http://www.everland.com/ you can see what Everland is all about!

These were two dudes that were on top of a float...pretty cool!

Bremer kids playing in Ana's room after Everland. Faith kept calling it "Ana's Russian Princess Day". I thought that was cute.

This was the Russian dinner we made. Piroshkis (kind of a hot pock type of food). We ate these a lot when we were in Russia. You would take a bite and NEVER know what you were going to get on the inside. Some had meat, some had veggies, some had fruits...we made beef/cabbage/onions type of filling for our meal. Chrov Plav (rice type of dish). Carrot and raisin salad. Don't know the Russian name for it...but the cool thing is my mom would make this salad for us growing up. When we were in Russia I saw it all the time and finally asked about it and they said it was a Russian favorite. SO I made my mom's recipe for our special night. YUM!
